We are seeking a skilled and detail-Oriented Custom Fabrication Welder to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in welding and fabrication, specifically with aluminum and steel, and will be responsible for creating custom molds for various products. Key Responsibilities:
- Mold Fabrication: Design and fabricate custom molds using aluminum and steel based on specifications and project requirements.
Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure molds meet functionality and quality standards - Welding Operations: Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques to assemble mold components securely.
Ensure all welding work complies with industry standards and safety regulations. - Material Selection: Identify and select appropriate materials for mold fabrication based on project requirements, including aluminum and steel grades.
- Machinery Operation: Operate and maintain various fabrication tools and equipment, including plasma cutters, band saws, and welding machines.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime. - Quality Control: Conduct inspections and tests on fabricated molds to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
Implement corrective actions for any discrepancies or defects identified during inspections.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a welder or fabricator, specifically in custom fabrication.
- Proficient in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, and stick) and the use of fabrication machinery.
- Strong understanding of aluminum and steel properties and their applications in mold making.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
- Excellent-problem-Solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Location: Concord, ON
Wage: $26.09-$30.00 per hour 40 per week Monday to Friday
