Sign Maker

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sign Maker to join our creative team in Brampton. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, producing, and installing high-quality signs that meet client specifications and company standards. This role offers an opportunity to showcase artistic talent while working in a collaborative environment dedicated to excellence in visual communication.

Responsible For

• Fabricate and assemble custom signs (channel letters, cabinet signs, vinyl graphics, banners, etc.)
• Operate production equipment such as vinyl cutters, laminators, CNC routers, and plotters
• Prepare substrates, including aluminum, acrylic, PVC, and other materials
• Apply vinyl graphics and laminations accurately.
• Assemble, install, and secure signs at designated locations following safety protocols.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to ensure accuracy and craftsmanship.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards.
• Collaborate with clients or team members to make adjustments or revisions as needed.
• Assist with on-site sign installation when required

Specific Skills

• Ability to use hand tools and power tools confidently
• Basic knowledge of electrical components for LED signs (asset)
• Experience with vinyl application and sign assembly
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools confidently

• Physically capable of lifting upto 40 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and quality control

Educational Requirements

• 3+ years experience in sign fabrication
