Overview
We are seeking a licensed 310J Heavy-Duty Mechanic to perform inspection, maintenance, and repair of heavy-duty trailers. The successful candidate will ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry standards.
Responsible For
- Diagnose and repair air, electrical, brake, and suspension systems
- Perform repairs to trailer frames, axles, and suspension components
- Service hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Inspect, repair, and maintain trailer wheels and assemblies
- Complete preventative and scheduled maintenance
- Perform welding and fabrication as required (MIG, TIG, gas, oxy-fuel)
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements

Educational Requirements
- Valid 310J Certificate of Qualification (required)
- Proven experience with heavy-duty trailer systems
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Own required tools for the role
- Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
- Physically capable of performing job duties
- Tank trailer experience is considered an asset
