Quality Controller

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This position involves conducting thorough inspections, performing quality assurance tests, and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement within our manufacturing processes.

Responsible For

  • Perform quality inspections on raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products
  • Conduct in-process checks during manufacturing and packaging
  • Review batch records to ensure accuracy and GMP compliance
  • Perform sampling, testing, and documentation of results
  • Monitor environmental controls and sanitation procedures
  • Maintain and calibrate QC equipment as required
  • Investigate deviations and assist in corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Ensure compliance with Health Canada, GMP, and internal SOPs
  • Maintain accurate and organized quality documentation

Specific Skills

Technical Skills:
  • Minimum 2 years of QC experience in nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or food manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
  • Experience with batch record review and quality documentation
  • Knowledge of Health Canada Natural Health Product regulations is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Educational Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related fiel
