Operations Manager

Location: North York, ON
Timings: 8:30am to 5pm
Schedule: Monday to Friday

Type: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $35/hr to $40/hr (Negotiable based on Experience)

We are hiring for our client who is seeking a dedicated Operations Manager who will play a pivotal role in overseeing our daily operations and leading a talented team. Position Overview:

As an Operations Manager, you will be at the forefront of our operational excellence. This role requires a blend of strong leadership, exceptional customer service, and organizational prowess. You will lead a team of 5-6 staff members, manage daily operations, and contribute to our business growth strategies. Your hands-on involvement in warehouse activities and your strategic input will drive our success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of 5-6 staff members. Ensure they meet performance standards, provide ongoing training, and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Sales Support & Order Fulfillment: Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless order fulfillment and contribute to achieving sales targets.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Directly engage with customers, address and resolve issues escalated by staff, and uphold high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Operational Efficiency: Oversee daily operations including scheduling, order processing, and inventory management. Ensure efficient and timely service delivery.
  • Warehouse Involvement: Actively participate in hands-on tasks within the warehouse, including operating machinery, and managing loading/unloading operations.
  • Growth & Development: Contribute to business development strategies, identify growth opportunities, and assist in implementing new initiatives to drive business expansion.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years in warehouse management with a proven track record in team leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering exceptional customer service and support.
  • Experience in sales and understanding of order fulfillment processes.
  • Strong organizational skills, leadership capabilities, and hands-on experience with warehouse operations and machinery.
  • Proactive, strategic thinker with a passion for continuous improvement and growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering a related field.
  • Experience in  CNC machines will be an Asset
  • Experience in Plastic Industry.
