Trailer Sales Manager

Overview

Responsible For

  • Work with management to develop sales strategies and new business prospects
  • Promoting and selling trailers and equipment including direct customer calls to develop relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Solicit new trailer orders from existing customers and prospect for new sales opportunities. Identify areas of growth to achieve monthly and annual targets.
  • Developing a sales plan utilizing a CRM to record and track leads, manage sales activity, and maintain an up-to-date customer contact database.
  • Coordinate with the management group to maintain trailer inventory based on the current sales model.
  • Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, product catalogs and features

Technical Skills:
  • Excellent customer service skills – dedicated to exceeding the expectations of internal and external customers.
  • Strong written and verbal skills – ability to write and speak with customers and colleagues.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (email, word, excel) and ability to learn in-house systems.

Educational Requirements

Experience:
  • 3 years of sales experience in the (heavy-duty) trailer industry preferred.
  • Previous experience in trailer sales or parts sales is an asset. (MUST)
